This post is about how audience awareness helps people write a better letter.(DURRRRRRRRR).
One, it can help people write a better letter for example, you are writing a letter to a bunch of uneducated people but YOU DONT KNOW THAT.So if you use a very profound language, they wont understand the letter and wont reply.
Two, if you are writing to a sucessful businessman and think you are writing to a bunch of uneducated people, you may get into some trouble .
Three, if in your exam, you are supposed to write to a teacher and you make the letter informal, your marks will not be as much as those who know of audience awareness . (FOOD!)
